Abstract
The study uses building energy simulation tools to analyze the conceptual models representative of existing classroom spaces in Ahmedabad, to study the daylight performance The existing classroom spaces are documented with field studies, analyzed and the best representative classroom spaces are simulated to check the annual performance. The approach is to check how the existing typical classroom space perform when tested in terms of various daylight metrics and to know the impact of variables on daylight.
