Abstract
The future of mobility is a topic which is characterized by uncertainty regarding the future development. In order to develop relevant product characteristics for the mobility of the future from environmental scenarios, the systematic approach proposed by Albers et al. (2018a) is applied, which enables a direct linkage of future knowledge with product engineering (Albers et al., 2018a; Marthaler et al., 2019b). A special focus lies on the potential phase in order to gain further insights into the development of the respective product characteristics from the scenario-specific evaluations.
