Abstract
A distinctive UX shaping the brand is an important goal in the development of a new product generation. Trends such as advancing digitalization open up many innovation potentials for UX developers. This article focuses on in-vehicle UX in terms of designing interactions between the vehicle and the user by means of user interfaces. Based on a literature review, challenges and strategic potentials were discussed with UX experts in a workshop (n=11) and an online survey (n=45). Subsequently, 4 success factors and 7 requirements to provide developers with recommendations for action were derived.
